Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

This feisty little miss is Moon Pie!

She’s a lovable 1-year-old girl who brings fun to every playtime with her foster sisters but also likes to be in charge. She uses a quick hiss to keep everyone in line — just like a referee uses a quick whistle. However, she never gets worked up about anything.

Moon Pie gets along with the dogs in her foster home but hasn’t been around children. Her curiosity makes everything and everyone worthy of her attention, and her good-natured affection is sweetly companionable but never needy.

A pert little face, with its impish pink smile and beautiful black-on-ivory markings, is the perfect complement to her sleek, polished suit of black and ivory silkiness.

The Will to Survive

Moon Pie was found alone in an ally trying to survive off of what she could find. She needed a proper diet, vaccines, a consistent temperature to assist healing and growth, and a lot of TLC. She had to fight to survive so she has the residual effect of that battle.

Could this classic, easy-care cutie pie be the new delight in your forever home? She might do best as a only kitty, or with an understanding patient family. Moon Pie can be a bit of a pill, so we are hoping someone needs a queen in their life!

To adopt Moon Pie or see other available cats and kittens, visit The Cat House on the Kings.

All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, and litter-box trained. Thirty days of pet insurance is included with an adoption.

The nonprofit Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center.
