Detectives arrested Jorge Aroz, 20, in Visalia on Thursday morning for his alleged role in the 2023 murder of Isaak Sedillo, the Visalia Police Department said in a statement.

Aroz was booked and charged with conspiracy and murder, according to authorities.

The Homicide

On March 13, 2023, Visalia police responded to reports of gunshots in the 2900 block of South Fulgham Street.

Minutes later, they received reports of a shooting victim about 5 miles away.

Sedillo, 20, was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The VPD’s Violent Crimes Unit took over the investigation, identifying a 15-year-old male from Dinuba as the primary suspect.

On May 4, 2023, detectives located and arrested the teen in Dinuba, charging him with homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, and resisting arrest.

Further investigation revealed additional suspects.
