AMOR Wellness brought Thanksgiving cheer to families in Mendota on Saturday, delivering 300 meals to those in need.
For seven years, the organization has worked to address food insecurity in the community by ensuring struggling families have a special meal during the holiday season.
Joining the effort was former California State Senator Andreas Borgeas, a member of AMOR’s board of directors, along with his two children. “I really enjoy serving as a member of the board of directors of AMOR, initially because of the work that they have done overseas,” Borgeas said. “But I have come to really appreciate the work that they do here in Mendota.”
AMOR Wellness continues to make a meaningful impact, providing not just meals but also hope to families facing difficult times.
