Shoppers flocked to the grand opening of Vallarta’s first supermarket in Clovis on Wednesday.
The festivities included the presentation of donation checks to local nonprofits and schools from the growing 59-store chain headquartered in Santa Clarita, California.
The store is in the Village Square Shopping Center at 170 W. Shaw Ave.
Vallarta Supermarkets was founded in 1985 by Mexican émigré Enrique Gonzalez.
