Three gang members were arrested Friday during a parole and probation search, the Visalia Police Department said on Saturday.

The Special Enforcement Bureau and the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Tulare Area Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted the operation.

Officers found illegal firearms and narcotics, resulting in the seizure of two firearms, including one reported as lost or stolen, authorities said.

The arrested gang members were identified as Fernando Ruelas, 23, Daniel Flores, 27, and Manuel Valenzuela, 29.

They were booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility without bail, while two other individuals were cited and released.

This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat gang violence and illegal weapons in the region, Visalia police said.
