Officers responded to a report of a male found deceased on Sept. 9 with multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of West North Bear Creek and Shadowbrook drives in Merced.

Investigators have been canvassing the area, looking for video footage and potential witnesses.

Authorities believe that a white, four-door vehicle with a sunroof may be linked to the homicide and are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or any individuals involved to come forward.
