At a dinner celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Foundation for Central Schools, Superintendent Ketti Davis discussed the potential impact of Measure X and upcoming developments within Central Unified.

Davis spoke about plans for a new elementary school at Shields and Brawley avenues and how Central High School and Central East High School are separating their art and athletic programs.

She also outlined Measure X, a school bond designed to maintain and upgrade aging facilities in the district. This bond will extend the existing tax rate without increasing it, ensuring continued investment in Central Unified schools.
