Three men were arrested after a shooting at a large party in Yettem early Saturday morning, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred just before midnight in the 38700 Block of Road 144, where deputies responded to reports of gunfire.
Deputies said they heard additional shots and screams. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say the victim, who has no gang affiliations, was among several men who confronted three Norteños gang members for bringing firearms to the gathering.
Deputies detained the suspects and discovered evidence linking them to the shooting.

Daniel Tanguma, 18, and Jacob Salinas, 20, both of Porterville, along with Mathew Mejia, 18, of Visalia, were arrested and booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
They face charges of attempted murder and various firearms violations, according to authorities.
