A total of 1,615 personnel are currently working to contain the fire, supported by 116 engines, 53 water tenders, four helicopters, 22 bulldozers, and 44 hand crews.

The Current Situation

The fire has mostly been creeping and smoldering in rugged terrain within its perimeter. Crews are focused on suppression repair and reinforcing control lines.

Weather remains hot and dry with a slight cooling trend expected over the next few days and wind gusts up to 35 mph. Damage inspections are 90% complete, with 78 inspections finished.

CalFire urges the public to stay alert to current fire conditions, follow road closures and evacuation orders, and avoid downed electrical wires.

Fire crews and utility companies will remain in the area to address any lingering fire concerns, restore utilities, and reinforce infrastructure.
