Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Kingsburg — Hey there, hot rod fans! This past weekend, we turned the clock back and hit the streets for the 29th Annual Kingsburg Car Show right here in our little Swedish slice of California.

Man, did Kingsburg put on a show or what? We packed the downtown with every kind of classic you can dream of from shiny antiques and rad roadsters to beastly muscle cars and slick street rods.

The whole Valley knows Kingsburg’s the place to be every third weekend in April, and this year, we cranked it up a notch. Friday night kicked off with engines roaring down Draper Street. We had folks of all ages boppin’ to live tunes, munching on great eats, and just soaking in the vibes—classic car style.

Saturday was when the real magic happened. The streets were jam-packed with beauties. Imagine rows upon rows of cars that looked like they drove straight out of a time machine. And let me tell you, the crowd was diggin’ it—kids, grandparents, and everyone in between.

Handing Out the Trophies

The Selma Auto Mall and Kingsburg Chamber of Commerce, steered by Allyn Troisi, were behind the wheel for this shindig, and they sure know how to host a party. They doled out 17 specialty awards, and not just any trophies. “Low and Slow” for the best lowriders cruising at a chill pace, “Wind in My Hair” for those sweet convertibles, and my personal favorite, “Heavy Horsepower” for the muscle monsters.

What’s cool about Kingsburg is that it doesn’t matter what year your ride rolled off the assembly line — everyone’s invited. It’s all about celebrating the art and evolution of cars. Gives everyone a chance to show off our projects and maybe even inspire the next generation of rodders.

As the sun set on another epic show, everyone was already buzzing about next year. If you missed out or wanna be part of the action next time, cruise over to kingsburgchamber.com to get your spot lined up. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just love a good show, Kingsburg’s car show is the place to meet. Trust me, it’s more than just a show — it’s a community on wheels.

And hey, if you want to relive the excitement or catch what you missed, check out the video from Central Octane, shot right in the thick of it on April 20. It’s all the fun, the cars, and the Kingsburg charm, captured by yours truly. You can find it over on our Central Octane YouTube channel.

Don’t forget to hit like and subscribe for more motor mayhem and classic car chronicles. Can’t wait to see you there next year, and keep those engines purrin’!
