The first of two atmospheric rivers pummeling California brought hail to the Hanford-Lemoore area on Thursday afternoon.
The images for this story were taken after the National Weather Service in Hanford issued a “special weather statement” saying that hail up to a half-inch in size and winds up to 50 mph were possible over a portion of Kings County.
NWS urged residents to “seek shelter in a sturdy structure.”
