A statewide outage has California officials sending those needing child support services to online platforms.
The call center for the California Department of Child Support Services is still offline as of Wednesday. Calls made to the hotline, 1-866-901-3212, cannot be routed to the respective counties, according to a representative with the California Child Support Services.
The call center services counties throughout California, including Fresno County.
State officials do not expect the issue resolved before the end of the week. Those needing services from the California Department of Child Support Services should reach out directly to their respective county or visit the website www.childsupport.ca.gov, then click on Customer Connect.
Online services are operating with no interruptions.
The call center is used for a variety of child support needs, whether applying for court-ordered child support, locating parents, establishing legal parentage or making child support payments.
