Community-minded Fresno County high school juniors and seniors looking for summer internships are encouraged to submit their applications for the 2024 Student Leaders program offered by Bank of America.
The deadline to apply for the community-oriented leadership program is fast approaching — Wednesday, Jan. 17.
The program provides work experience and training through an eight-week paid internship with local nonprofits. The program also includes an all-expense-paid Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., from July 22 through July 27.
Every year, about 300 community-minded students around the nation are selected for the Student Leader Program.
Last summer, Manraj Mondair of Buchanan High School and Elena Padilla of Riverdale High School were awarded paid summer internships in which they worked for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Fresno County and attended the summit in Washington, D.C.
How to Apply
Students in good standing at their school and interested in the program can apply at this link.
