Customers flocked to the opening of the new “Cookies” cannabis store on Sunday, Dec. 17, to see what was inside and meet San Francisco hip-hop artist and business mogul Berner, who founded the Cookies brand.

The Fresno store is at 5048 N. Blackstone Ave., just north of Shaw Avenue.

It is the city’s fourth legal cannabis store.

Berner Makes Cover of Forbes Magazine

In August 2022, Berner became the first cannabis executive featured on the cover of Forbes Magazine. The business/financial magazine at that time estimated the worth of the Cookies brand at $150 million. There are more than 50 Cookies brand dispensaries in the United States.
