Fresno police say they tracked down murder suspect Joshua Noe Mata, 46, on Saturday at a local hotel.
Mata was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Oscar Martinez, 62, last month in southeast Fresno.
According to police, Martinez was found shot in a vehicle in the 4700 block of East Liberty Avenue on Sept. 19 and died a week later at Community Regional Medical Center.
Undercover detectives took Mata into custody and booked him into Fresno County Jail on murder and illegal gun possession charges. As of Monday morning, Mata remained in jail.
