Valley Pink Patch is underway, providing you an opportunity to join local law enforcement agencies in fighting breast cancer.

Throughout October, pink versions of local law enforcement patches are available for a $10 donation. A complete set is $200.

All proceeds benefit the Marjorie E. Radin Breast Care Center at Clovis Community Medical Center and this year honor the memory of Fresno Police Det. Ana Chavarin.

Chavarin, who worked on domestic violence and child abuse cases for many years, died of breast cancer on June 1.

Valley Pink Patch Kickoff

Valley Pink Patch 2023 kicked off with an uplifting event celebrating the strength and resilience of a dozen breast cancer survivors. Ulta Beauty provided a morning of glam and skincare tutorials to make the women feel truly special.

Afterward, the survivors were driven with a police escort to Fresno Acura, where they walked the pink carpet and were greeted by Valley law enforcement leaders. Check out the photo album to see the highlights.
