Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made his second presidential fund-raising stop in the Valley on Thursday.
One day after taking part in the second Republican debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley spoke to supporters at Harris Construction headquarters in Fresno.
Harris Construction owner Richard Spencer and his wife, Karen, hosted the event.
Organizers said the 12:30 p.m. luncheon was a sellout. Ticket prices ranged from $1,500 for a single person to $11,500 for a reserved table with six seats.
In June, DeSantis spoke to Republican insiders at a private event at Harris Ranch in Coalinga.
Trump Leads DeSantis by Wide Margin in Polls
DeSantis is a distant runner-up in polling for the GOP nomination with a poll average of 13.5% as of Friday.
Former President Donald Trump is the runaway poll leader at 54.8%, according to calculations made by fivethirtyeight.com.
