Tulare County Man Gets 25-to-Life for Sexual Assault of a 4-Year-Old

A 24-year-old Farmersville man received a life sentence on Thursday for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl more than four years ago.

Lucas Floyd must serve 25 years in prison before he is eligible for parole. Tulare County prosecutors said that Floyd will be required to register as a sex offender for the entirety of his life.
Floyd pleaded guilty on February 16, 2023, to one count of sexual intercourse with a child 10 years of age or younger.
Deputy District Attorney Kelly Habroun prosecuted the case, which was investigated by Visalia police.
