A baseball fan and his emotional support alligator, Wally, tried to get into the game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday in the City of Brotherly Love.

The Philadelphia Inquirer identified the fan as Joie Henney. He came to Citizens Bank Park walking Wally on a leash and saying that the nearly five-foot alligator was his service animal.

However, they were denied entry into the ballpark.

The stadium’s policy on support animals on the Phillies official website states: “Certified service dogs or service dogs in training for guests with special needs are welcome. All other animals are prohibited.”
