Fresno County detectives on the hunt for a homicide suspect are asking for help finding him.
The sheriff’s office said in a news release Wednesday that an arrest warrant was issued for Miguel Luis Gutierrez Jr., 41.
“He should be considered armed and dangerous, so the public should not approach him,” said sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti. “Instead, dial 911 if you see him or know of his whereabouts.”
Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a homeowner on south Blythe Avenue between Easton and Raisin City found a dead man in the garage.
The victim was later identified as Ismael Orlando Herrera Jr., 39, who was homeless and often seen near Caruthers and Riverdale.
The sheriff’s office said it wouldn’t release other details because the investigation into Herrera’s death is ongoing.
