A bail of $2.5 million has been set for Christopher Randy Chacon, who remains in Fresno County Jail on charges that he stabbed his 73-year-old grandfather to death and tried to murder three other family members.
Fresno County sheriff’s detectives say that they responded to a home on South Hughes Avenue between Easton and Raisin City at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday. They found the grandfather, Jose Espinoza, dead and three other stabbing victims. EMS transported the three injured people to the hospital.
According to detectives, the assailant and the victims all lived in the home.
