Fresno police have arrested one of two suspects they believe killed 40-year-old Luis Alberto Castillo late last year in a southeast neighborhood.

Authorities said that homicide detectives identified Raymond Guido, 31, as a suspect and then arrested him on a parole violation on March 2. Guido was released from prison in August 2022.
Police say that Castillo was killed during a robbery at about 6 p.m. on Dec. 30. Officers responding to a report of gunshots found him wounded in the Jackson Avenue roadway north of Turner Avenue. He died shortly after being taken to a hospital.
