Fresno Police Hunt for Man Suspected of Killing Neighbor With Shot Through Wall

Fresno police say they are now looking to arrest a fatal shooting suspect who initially cooperated with investigators.

Kevin King, 42, is wanted for voluntary manslaughter, child endangerment, and being a felon with a gun, the Fresno Police Department said in a news release Wednesday evening.

According to police, King fired a single round through a wall into an adjoining apartment killing Victor Becerra, 51, on Monday afternoon.

The homicide occurred at an apartment complex in the 4100 block of North Blythe Avenue in northwest Fresno.

Suspect in New Year’s Day Killing Sought

Police are also seeking to locate Joel Rodriguez, 26, for questioning in connection with the shooting death of Steven Montano, 30, at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of North Fruit Avenue on New Year’s Day.
