GV Wire hosted a forum featuring five of the 10 Clovis City Council candidates.
Clovis voters will select up to three names on the ballots that are already out to all registered voters. The ballots must be returned by Nov. 8 to be counted — either through the mail, or at an in-person voting location.
On Wednesday night, candidates Joshua Phanco, Diane Pearce, Matt Basgall, Des Haus, and Kyle Chaney answered questions from moderator David Taub at the CMAC studios.
Topics included what the “Clovis Way of Life” means to them, public safety, and the future of Clovis development.
A second forum with the remaining candidates is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 25 on GV Wire’s Facebook page.
