Amber Heard Didn't Write Op-Ed Defaming Johnny Depp. ACLU Did.

After a Virginia jury awarded Johnny Depp $10 million and Amber Heard $2 million in a split libel verdict, there’s a report that Heard didn’t write the now-infamous op-ed in which she described herself as a domestic abuse victim.
“Testimony and email records produced at the trial demonstrated that the first draft of the Washington Post op-ed was ghostwritten by the staffers at the American Civil Liberties Union,” Insider.com reported Wednesday.
David Ring, an attorney specializing in sexual assault and abuse cases, said that the verdict would tarnish the ACLU’s reputation.
