Fresno police say they arrested a “prolific” restaurant burglary suspect at 6 a.m. Thursday near a coffee shop at Blackstone and San Jose avenues.
According to a Fresno PD news release, officers recognized a parked vehicle as that of Robert George Hill, who was wanted in connection with multiple burglaries.
As officers approached the vehicle, they saw Hill leaving the shop with a coffee in hand. Spotting the cops, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Hill ran across Blackstone before being caught.

Hill, 28, will be charged with 14 felony burglary counts in Fresno and two more in Clovis, police said. He was booked into Fresno County Jail later Thursday.
It is believed that Hill began his alleged burglary spree in November 2021. Among the businesses hit: Jugo Salad & Juice Bar, Deli Delicious, Milk Tea, Me-N-Eds Pizza, the Berrock Shop, Nektar Juice, and Tiger Boba.
