Sun-Maid Growers of California is holding a one-day job fair with over 35 plant production positions available on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Kingsburg.

On-site interviews will provide the opportunity to be hired on the spot pending a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug test, company officials said in a news release.

Bonuses of $500 and $1,500

All positions are permanent with bonus opportunities for new hires. These include $500 after 30 days of employment and $1,500 after completing a probationary period.

No experience is necessary for many positions. However, those applying for forklift driver positions will be required to complete an on-site forklift driving test. Additional plant production positions include sanitation supervisor, maintenance supervisors, stack crews/bin repair, and machine operators.

Attendees should bring a resume.

How to Apply Online

COVID-19 safety mandates will be in place during the job fair, so candidates must wear a mask.

Those unable to attend can fill out an online application at this link or call (559) 897-6280 to schedule an interview.

Sun-Maid is at 13525 S. Bethel Ave. in Kingsburg.
