A Tulare County jury sent a strong message to serial child molester Armando Hicham Kassaz on Friday: You can’t outrun the long arm of the justice system.

Armando Kassaz (Tulare County DA’s Office)

The jury found Kassaz guilty of 64 felony counts of child molestation against three children under the age of 14.

The jury additionally found that Kassaz, a Visalia resident, had substantial contact with the victims.

Sentencing is set for Oct. 1. Kassaz, who is 64 years old, faces up to 960 years to life in state prison.

Molestations Occurred From 1995 to 2002

All of the crimes took place between 1995 and 2002.

A spokesman for the Tulare County District Attorney’s office explained that over time the victims found the strength to report what happened to them.

Senior deputy district attorney Laura Jackson of the Crimes against Children Division prosecuted the case. Kevin Grant of the district attorney’s office and Visalia police investigated the crimes.
