gvwireAn American Airlines flight out of Fresno to Dallas on Sunday is attracting international attention because of a video made by a passenger.
Posting on Twitter, Tammy Gonzalez said, “I’ve never felt so unsafe in my life” because of the number of filled seats and a disregard of social-distancing guidelines to stop COVID-19 spread on flight AA1154.

Just flew on @AmericanAir flight AA1154 from Fresno to Dallas. Apparently airlines are exempt from CDC guidelines for social distancing. All rows with the exception of maybe 4 rows were completely full of passengers. I’ve never felt so unsafe in my life. @CNN @CDCgov pic.twitter.com/D67KmZuzvl

The airline took notice and responded to Gonzalez on Twitter saying, “We’ll share your feedback with the right team.”
We’re working hard to create more space by limiting the number of customers on each flight. We’ll share your feedback with the right team.

One Twitter account responded to Gonzalez’s post with “We’ve been flying on planes with sick people our whole lives. You never knew what the person sitting next to you had. Don’t fly if you don’t want to share the same cabin air as the other people in the plane.”
