gvwireWant to spruce up Fresno and meet people who also take pride in our city?
Keep Fresno Beautiful can put you to work Saturday along the McKenzie Trail in southeast Fresno on Saturday.
City landscape crews are teaming with Tree Fresno and community volunteers to plant 180 trees. There are two separate workshop/start times: 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The trail is 2.5 miles long and links Helm Avenue to Clovis Avenue.
Check-in is at the Tree Fresno canopy, at the intersection of North Helm and East McKenzie avenues (275 N. Helm). You can park at Kings Canyon Middle School.
Tree planting materials and training will be provided. Remember to bring gloves, sun protection, and a refillable water bottle.
You can register at this link. Or contact Tree Fresno: Sara@treefresno.org, 559-221-5556.
