If Democrats flip the House of Representative tonight, California members could be poised for leadership positions.

At the top, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco), already the minority leader, could resume her position as Speaker of the House.

Many other Democrats in the California delegation could take over chairmanships, including Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) of the intelligence committee. Devin Nunes (R-Tulare) currently holds that post.
