Man in His 50s Detained in Florida in Mail-Bomb Case

WASHINGTON — A person was taken into custody in Florida in connection with the series of mail bombs addressed to prominent critics of President Donald Trump, the Justice Department said Friday.

A law enforcement official says the person in custody is a man in his 50s.Authorities have located 12 devices addressed in recent days to Democratic figures including former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
The targets have all been high-profile critics of the president.
The Justice Department has scheduled a Friday afternoon news conference to discuss the investigation.
