President Trump took time from attacking Rep. Adam Schiff and making immigration reform demands Monday morning to praise Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Tulare.
Nunes is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, whose Republican members released a four-page memo outlining alleged mistakes in the FBI’s application for FISA warrants to monitor former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.
The memo was based on confidential information provided to the committee by the FBI. The committee released it publicly over the vehement objections of FBI Director Christopher Wray.
President Trump, who approved the release of the controversial memo, now is standing shoulder to shoulder with Nunes, who has become a political bull’s-eye for Democrats.
Representative Devin Nunes, a man of tremendous courage and grit, may someday be recognized as a Great American Hero for what he has exposed and what he has had to endure!

Nunes Challenger Janz Responds
Andrew Janz, a Fresno County prosecutor who is one of three Democrats challenging Nunes for reelection, responded with this tweet later Monday morning.
If Devin Nunes is incapable of telling the truth about basic established facts, then he should not be allowed anywhere near classified information. #RemoveNunes https://t.co/BppHQ4aGMp

Trump’s Other Tweets
Here are Trump’s tweets castigating Schiff, a Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee, and urging Democrats to “make a deal!” with the president on immigration reform”
Little Adam Schiff, who is desperate to run for higher office, is one of the biggest liars and leakers in Washington, right up there with Comey, Warner, Brennan and Clapper! Adam leaves closed committee hearings to illegally leak confidential information. Must be stopped!

Any deal on DACA that does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL is a total waste of time. March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Dems seem not to care about DACA. Make a deal!

Rep. Schiff Answers President Trump
Mr. President, I see you’ve had a busy morning of “Executive Time.” Instead of tweeting false smears, the American people would appreciate it if you turned off the TV and helped solve the funding crisis, protected Dreamers or…really anything else. https://t.co/lVqQRu2Gjl

The New York Times reported Monday that “Automated Twitter accounts, called bots, then appeared to push the ‘Little Adam Schiff’ hashtag on the social media platform.”
