Images of a traumatized Syrian boy covered in blood are bringing attention to the ongoing conflict in the Syrian civil war.

The 5-year-old Omran Daqneesh, was injured in an airstrike that hit Aleppo, northern Syria, on Wednesday.

 

You can watch the scene play out in the video above, but be warned: it’s graphic.
