Donated boxed lunches are coming to front-line employees at Community Medical Centers, St. Agnes Medical Center, and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

And the first stop is today at St. Agnes.

“We are very grateful to the Fresno Rotary for allowing us the opportunity to feed first responders. Not only will this benefit them, but this will also benefit our employees who are unfortunately facing reduced schedules due to this pandemic.” — Jim Pardini

The Rotary Club of Fresno said Wednesday morning that it is partnering with Pardini’s Catering to donate the meals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pardini’s Has Longtime Relationship With Fresno Rotary

Pardini’s has catered the club’s weekly luncheon meetings for nearly 15 years.

“We are very excited to be partnering with Pardini’s to give back to our community,” said Rotary Club of Fresno President Todd Sheller. “We’ve developed a partnership with them over the years and wanted to not only assist our foodservice friends in these uncertain times but to also say thank you to all our healthcare workers and law enforcement officers who are working around the clock for us.”

The partnership will provide boxed lunch meals to hundreds of front-line employees over the coming weeks, according to the club.

“We are very grateful to the Fresno Rotary for allowing us the opportunity to feed first responders,” said Jim Pardini, owner of Pardini’s Catering. “Not only will this benefit them, but this will also benefit our employees who are unfortunately facing reduced schedules due to this pandemic.”

Said Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner Margaret Mims: “Our employees are working diligently to ensure the safety of our community during this trying time. We are very grateful to Fresno Rotary for wanting to provide not only meals to our officers but the encouragement that the community is behind them.”
