NASHVILLE, Tenn. โ€” A Silicon Valley biotech company is planning to invest $10 million and create 150 new jobs over five year by moving its headquarters to Nashville.

The state Department of Economic and Community Development says Revance Therapeutics would create 150 more jobs on top of its 450 workers currently stationed in California and elsewhere in the U.S.

Revance Therapeutics specializes in aesthetics, therapeutics and financial technology, including one injection product under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for frown lines.

The company is also evaluating the product for conditions that include cervical dystonia and adult upper limb spasticity.

Its new headquarters will include a training and education center for employees, health care providers, customers and patients.
