In his first interview since October 7th, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has labeled the ongoing conflict in Gaza as a “grave crime” against Palestinians, as reported by BBC.

The Israeli Army, however, has indicated that the process of dismantling Hamas could extend for several more months.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reports a death toll of 241 just in the past 24 hours, bringing the total fatalities to over 20,000. The conflict has also led to a complete shutdown of almost all of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
