Black Lives Matter Secretly Bought a $6 Million California House

In what reporter Sean Campbell described as a transaction meant to remain a secret, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation used donations to buy a luxurious 6,500 square-foot home for nearly $6 million, New York Magazine revealed Monday.
The California house, which was purchased in October 2020, has more than half a dozen bedrooms and bathrooms, several fireplaces, a soundstage, a pool and bungalow, and parking for more than 20 cars, the magazine reported.
“Even if everything about the house is above board, the general air of secrecy is out of step with the transparency that is expected of charitable or tax-exempt organizations,” Campbell analyzed.
