Chime Goes Down for Thousands of Users, Downdetector Shows

Chime experienced a possible outage Wednesday, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 3,100 users had reported problems with the platform as of 9:56 a.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users who reported an issue to Downdetector said that they had issues with the mobile application.

Chime’s status page says that all systems are currently operational.

Update at 10:04 a.m.

More than 5,000 users have now reported an issue with Chime.

Update at 10:09 a.m.

More than 9,000 users have reported an issue with the platform.

Chime’s status checker now says that they are investigating the issue.

Update at 10:13 a.m.

More than 10,000 users have now reported an issue with Chime.

Update at 10:33 a.m.

Chime’s status checker shows that they are still working on the disruption.

More than 16,000 users have reported an issue regarding the platform.

Update at 10:56 a.m.

Chime’s status checker reported outages with features including SpotMe, Pay Anyone, Mobile Check Deposit, MyPay, ACH transfers, dispute filing, and the mobile app.

Card purchases, ATM transactions, direct deposits, and cash deposits remain operational, the status checker showed.

More than 20,000 users have reported an issue with the platform to Downdetector.

More than 24,000 have now reported an issue with Chime.
