The Merced County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Bureau is asking for the public’s help in locating the family of 38-year-old Nicholas Swaim.

Officials say attempts to find Swaim’s relatives through personal records have been unsuccessful.

Locating his immediate family is necessary for the Coroner’s Office to release the body and allow for a proper burial.
