Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Grapevine Road are closed due to a vehicle fire, the California Highway Patrol’s Fort Tejon office reported Monday.

The CHP said the #4 lane is blocked and drivers should exercise caution while passing through the area.

Crews are working to clean up the scene, with an estimated time of opening around six hours.

Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
