2:20 p.m., March 27 Update:

Tiger Woods was arrested Friday afternoon for DUI following a rollover crash involving two vehicles on a small two-lane road, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said at a news conference.

ESPN reported that Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash Friday afternoon in Jupiter Island, Florida, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office provided no details on the cause of the crash or Woods’ condition. Authorities are investigating, and a sheriff is scheduled to speak with reporters at 5 p.m. ET.

Woods, who lives in the town, recently returned to competitive golf after rupturing an Achilles tendon in March 2025 and undergoing back surgery in October.

He also suffered major leg injuries in a 2021 crash in California.
