Two 15-year-old boys were killed and another teen injured early Monday in a shooting in Fresno, police said.
Officers from the Northeast Policing District responded around 1:20 a.m. Monday to reports of gunfire near Fourth Street and East San Jose Avenue.
When they arrived, they found three male juvenile victims. A 15-year-old was located at East San Jose Avenue and Bond Street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another 15-year-old was found on East San Jose Avenue between Bond and Fourth streets. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A 14-year-old boy, struck by gunfire to his upper body, was found several blocks away near Bond Street and East San Ramon Avenue. He was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery and was listed in stable condition.
A fourth 17-year-old who was targeted but unharmed fled the scene and has been identified by detectives.
