Several power poles are down and blocking the roadway at Snelling Road and La Paloma Road in Merced County on Thursday, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol in Merced reported the roadway is currently impacted and advised motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews work to clear the scene.
CHP reported that PG&E is on the scene.
Officials said updates will be provided on the agency’s X account.
