The Madera Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing another customer’s purse from a local business.

Police released a surveillance image of the unidentified female suspect as part of their weekly “Who is This Wednesday” campaign.

According to authorities, the woman was captured on video taking a purse belonging to a previous patron.

The department did not specify which business the theft occurred at or provide additional details about the incident.
