YouTube Down for More Than a Hundred Thousand Users, Downdetector Reports

YouTube experienced a widespread outage Tuesday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.

More than 390,000 users had reported problems with the platform as of 5:24 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collecting status reports from multiple sources.

Most users reported issues with the application.

YouTube TV also has over 10,000 reports of being down, Downdetector shows.

Update at 5:30 p.m.

More than 470,000 users have now reported an issue with YouTube.

Update at 5:33 p.m.

More than 570,000 users have now reported an issue.

Update at 5:48 p.m.

More than 700,000 users have reported an issue with YouTube. Some users have said that they are still able to search for content but the homepage is blank.

Update at 5;50 p.m.

More than 900,000 users have now reported an issue with the platform.
