The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating relatives of a 65-year-old man who died earlier this month.

The Coroner’s Office said Timothy Weitkamp died Jan. 7 at a nursing facility in Fresno. Officials said he may have originally been from Pennsylvania.

Got a Tip?

Staff with the Coroner’s Office have searched numerous personal records but have been unable to contact any family members.

Officials said locating immediate relatives is required before the Coroner’s Unit can release the body and allow for a proper burial.

Anyone with information about Weitkamp’s relatives is asked to contact the Coroner’s Unit at (559) 600-3400 or by email at coroner@fresnosheriff.org.
