Jan 10 (Reuters) – Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed U.S. support for the people of Iran on Saturday, after Iranian authorities blacked out the internet and they sought to curb anti–government protests raging across the country.

“The United States supports the brave people of Iran,” Rubio posted on X.

President Donald Trump issued a new warning to Iran’s leaders on Friday, saying, “You better not start shooting because we’ll start shooting too.”
