Grand Rising will host its third sober community event Saturday, featuring group fitness activities, vendors and live music in north Fresno.

The day will begin with a free group run offering 5K and 10K options, meeting at Fort Washington and Friant roads at 8 a.m. Evan Nebeker, organizer of Grand Rising, said participants are welcome to walk or run, with trails available for all levels. The run will be led by multiple local run clubs.

The run will start at 8:15 a.m. and follow a route along Woodward Park. A free 15-mile group bike ride hosted by Sad Tire will meet at the same time and location.

The main event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Azara Supper Club, 9455 N. Fort Washington Road.

Organizers said the event will include new vendors, music and activities while maintaining the same focus on movement, rhythm and community. Local DJs Domsolo, Honey, and Nate. will provide music throughout the event on an indoor and outdoor stage.

Vendors include Azara Supper Club with mocktails, Ohana Massage Team, Chef Ana with food, Hydroot with organic honey and tea, Hapa California with matcha and coffee, Imagination Organization offering free face painting, Smile Society providing a free photo booth, and Drip Factor Mobile Services offering vitamin and B12 shots.

Another vendor, Merchmane, will be doing free live screen printing. If you have an item that you want to bring to be screen printed, organizers say to bring it. Only Grand Rising related.

Sponsors for the January event include Embarc Fresno, Dutch Bros Fresno, and The Squeezed Juice.

Organizers said presale tickets are available, with higher-tier tickets nearly sold out.
