The Clovis Police Department will host a virtual ride-along Friday night as traffic officers conduct a DUI saturation detail aimed at keeping roadways safe during the holiday season.

The department said multiple traffic officers will be on duty, and the public can follow along on the Clovis Police Instagram account with video, photo, and text posts from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Viewers will be able to ask questions and participate virtually.

Those unable to watch during the live window can find ongoing or prior virtual ride-alongs using the hashtag “#CPDVRA” on the department’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
